What will it be? 70-75%? We are so sc--wed. Bad time to look for another job.

@14k who? Give us some initials
@ef not all of FB hires are around, several were let go. Facts matter.
@kb
He was a meme before
“ Someone in the human-resources department explained to us new joiners that it was more likely for someone to get in a plane crash or be accepted to Harvard than to get a job at Google.”
Ah, this one became a meme
@ht “Unified Data Experience - Unleashing the Value of bp Data”
@fe - when discussing experienced hires it seems to mean pre BL vs during BL (post BL too small a group to remember)
Who is it?
Is the Google leader in data safe in this round?
How many years of BP experience are needed, then?
Those cohorts have been around for 3–4 years; do they need to be here for 20 years to count?
the google/facebook tech cohort have been favored over those with bp experience
@cv+1jy496tbx you do sound like quoted arrogant C-suite member. Thanks for gaslighting.
has anybody heard what is going on with all our replacements in Pune/Bangalore? can they really turn everyone over all at once by aug 29th?
Emeka felt genuine and transparent of a leader compared to other corrupted ones, but I forgot he sits in the same C-Suite as others do. These leaders and their leadership is so hollow, fake, and disgusting.
Yes, when you look at the T3 leaders in Digital it’s just the same mundane VPs who are on like their 4th chance. They get shuffled around, say all the big words and never deliver. Then rinse and repeat. There are some absolute shockers who have landed roles in T4 also (all F Bells hires are still around). It’s going to be the same old toxic cr-p until we do this all again in a couple of years time.
Yes, there are a lot of roles that didn't transfer over very well when we tried to implement an agile organizational structure that had no business being in an energy company. This was abundantly apparent from day 1 of reinvent. However, this is not the fault of the people that were filling those roles. The failure is on leadership. What makes me mad is that most of the chief architects of reinvent still have their jobs. In the army, when a battle plan fails, you sack the generals, not the soldiers.
@cb I wish I could be around to see the next pulse survey results. Odds on them creating some bs excuse not to do it?
Architecture and Product are both joke roles that are not needed. Should have cut them 100%
@bb its exactly like the GoA Reliability... DL wiped the entire team but LT is all "Reliability is important". Sure.....
Did we really expect anyone from leadership to speak truth !!??!!
This is a real pulse survey question btw.
Architecture seems to have been wiped clean except a few. Product is hit hard. The leaders (as usual) lied again. Said Architecture and Product was critical and they valued both, turned around and wipe their words and roles in both areas.
It sure is seeming like 70-75%. I was the only one on my team in technology in the US and I am the only one who got cut
