Any rumors on Jan or Feb layoffs, or both?

I work in Dell Federal space and am a contractor. I was told today that I will be laid off at the end of January.
ISG dev areas in US are run by Pune, India.
I noticed a trend of managers from different countries taking over and managing North America business. Is this really a smart move?
@k3+1jgy1h1bt Big loss. Ed Services maintains Dell training for both inside Dell employees and outside customers. Group has questionable leadership for the past few years and it shows. Many are fearful to speak up because if they do, they are gone. Take a look at who is gone from that team; leaders with proven performance for one. They spoke out and were shown to the door. There are good people that remain and they are overworked. Then there are those that will say and do anything to remain employed. A$$ kissers and boot lickers
That's not the fault of the content developers. That's your business unit leaders fault. Ed Services creates content based on the requirements the business units they serve give them. While they may create content you feel isn't relevant, they also create all technical training for our product portfolio, onboard third party product training, etc. which is incredibly relevant and important to technical resources who install, implement, support our products. So yeah, it will be a big loss given how thin they are stretched already.
"teams that create all the training content on SABA"
no loss there. Most of the content that we are forced to watch has nothing to do with the job i do.
@hp+1jgy1h1bt The org/teams that create all the training content on SABA are in the services org (roll under DS). They've taken significant hits already over the last year and a half (haven't we all).
Fake news, sales will be affected in Feb as usual and no full RTO
Services as in Services sales org or Delivery sales org? What is training group?
@f4+1jgy1h1bt Services, training group
@bx+1jgy1h1bt Services, training group
It’s raining everywhere.
are these dev or sales groups?
Let it rain!!!!!!
Sounds like more hits to ISG, EPMs & Product Owners coming.
"Tsunami first week of Feb. List locked mid Dec. Director here (M10) in USA, had to submit a list with 5 names - team has been reducing for 18 months"
What orgs are on the list?
Curious about this comment: Need to remove some of the useless VP’s and Senior Directors. Any particular departments?
Given other teams have always been impacted at the same time as the larger sales layoffs, I'm not buying that.
Only sales affected in February as usual

Guess this explains why my manager was in leadership meetings in mid-December.
Hearing 1st week of February. And then full RTO for all.
Need to remove some of the useless VP’s and Senior Directors. They have made a mess of many orgs. Many have no working knowledge of their orgs. Maybe try this approach instead of decimating teams yet expecting same output. Getting old.
@bs+1jgy1h1bt Without revealing too much, what org are you in?

annihilation first week of Q 1
First week in February like clockwork. The numbers come in. Leadership has no plans to innovate because they are legitimately d-mb as he-l. They do layoffs to boost share price. Rinse repeat. The gasps of a dying brand.
