I feel compelled to share there is a “DEI Rationalization Effort” underway to assess pros/cons of nixing DEI to align with new federal guidelines. The project and details are shared on a business “need to know” basis. DEI won’t be around that much longer at SunTruist. You’ve been warned!

@vn+1jjcg7e3d DEI comes from the ruling class. All this ESG garbage Truist props up appeases who? The little guys or the big guys?
Such an incredibly tone deaf post.
Look at all you sheep frothing at the mouth over DEI. BAAAAAAA! It's just a bogeyman designed by politicians and the oligarchy to keep your ire off the real issues like the struggling middle class, low wages ACROSS THE BOARD, unaffordable higher ed, kids getting shot up in school, sub par health care, rampant mergers and acquisitions causing broken capitalism, and a ruling political party that literally fits the textbook definition of fascists. If the white race is superior like you knuckle draggers think then you have nothing to worry about now do you. So go ahead and keep arguing over these baloney issues while the ruling class systematically strips you of all you and your family are worth until we are just a bunch of worker drones that do as they please. Sincerely, middle aged white guy.
I was good with “D”. I was good with “I”. But the “E” piece created an undercurrent and almost an entire generation of “that’s not fair” victims. Anyone not in the majority has been told they’re being kept down unfairly and systemically. While that is true in many cases, it got ugly when individuals of today got tagged with the ills of the past. Someone who is 60’s, male, married, white, hetero, able-bodied, English speaking, heck, even right-handed has been told for 20 years he’s the problem, the bogeyman, the root and symbol of all evil. Eventually he either believes it, fights back, or shuts down. Like most things, what started with great intent morphed to be the very wrong it sought to right. I love what I’ve learned about people and cultures and lifestyles, but when innocent individuals became the bad guy is when I shut down. Maybe we can try again, but “us vs you” isn’t gonna work. If you don’t believe me, read all these comments a few more times.
@kc+1jjcg7e3d, I don't identify as White, but if what you say is true, why does the elimination of DEI mean you will lose your spot if your replacement is mediocre and incompetent? The same thing you just stated, IS the issue with DEI, minus the "white" characteristic.
@jy+1jjcg7e3d, I agree that it can be used for that. In my experience it hasn't always been "anti-White" though. For me, it was used as an excuse or shield to elevate corrupt or verifiably unqualified people. After it takes place, those individuals behave in a manner in which they gloat about their corruption. They think they are protected because they can hide behind the "DEI" shield even though their placement has very little to do with "DEI" and more to do with corruption. It ultimately damages the company in the end though.
@be+1jjcg7e3d It's an admission that the entire purpose of DEI is anti-white discrimination and exclusion.
Dontae!!!!!
DEI Donta!!!!
I find it very strange that those in defense of "DEI" or fear losing their jobs due to a negation of "DEI" never mention their actual performance or contributions to any given company, only the presence of DEI. Its an admission that they are only there because of "DEI" and that if "DEI" goes away, so will they. It's just a strange defense which proves that "DEI" is a problem and/or discriminatory. Also, why does the elimination of DEI mean "Pro-White"?
That JP Morgan bank sure doesn't know what it's doing.

"DEI wasn't making a dent in the white is right thinking anyway."
Maybe not for the employees but it was a major effort in supply chain that was increasing Truist costs.
Meh, DEI wasn't making a dent in the white is right thinking anyway. It's been pretty safe to assume white people only have the job because they're white, and once DEI is gone it'll be even more likely. They're rarely the most qualified, moral, or intelligent, but they are the largest and loudest group and the elections already proved that is enough.
Start with Care!
Finally some good news!!!!
