Was at the company less than 3 years and was hit by WFR in sales.
Feeling very defeated and not sure where to look next for a sales role, especially after learning everything "dell" the last few years, I feel like I don't know anything else.

I was only there for 21 months before I got laid off. I was the oldest person in my dept and should have seen it coming when all the 20-somethings started coming in. Took me 8 months to find another job in my field :\
If you can sell, you will find a job. If you’re an admin with a sales title, you’re going to have a tough time.
@jxw+1u7g2LAA. tell us you haven't worked at any of those basically the same tech companies w/o telling us

"trust me when I say all tech companies are basically the same."
Let me guess: dell @ 20 years?
Try dell only partners! I think davenport is one? Trust me when I say all tech companies are basically the same. Any partner that sells dell will be loving ya! Make sure you add keywords in your resume from the job posting to get passed the bots! You can learn anything needed but your foundational skills are there for any other tech job! Good luck!

Anyone at dell 10+ years lacks ambition
3 Years is a solid foundation on a resume and what you learned will apply elsewhere in tech, or at least shorten your learning curve. Those with 10-15-20+ years have a tougher time unlearning some things. At least at Dell you learn to deal with a lot of change and be adaptable.
Thank your lucky stars it was only 3years.
You can easily unlearn all that 'dell' way.
That's sales for ya
