Huddle next week. Wonder what the HR Stay Puft Marshmallow man will say about continuing right sizing

Re the possibly forced 4 day office - sure, they will win that battle but won’t win the war. For a company wanting to be modern, that old way of working isn’t with the times. You can always attract people, it is harder to retain talent.
@jw
You ok? You sound like you need a hug.
@jw The building is gross now? The building was one of the best parts of working at Fossil. How bad is it?
Love that collaboration = another day of video calls with other teams in smelly meeting rooms, sad cafeteria food, and absolutely destroyed bathrooms.
Guys, come on, it's all about collaboration. Bringing that company culture and vibe back to the office. Go team!
And it's comments like Rooster's that are forcing us back into the office 4 days. Many of us worked effectively from home, it's too bad that those who could not have ruined it for the rest of us.
Plus it was great only having to work 3 days per week.
You can’t really call it hybrid when it’s 4 days in office. Mediocre at best.
Switching from a three day in office schedule to four days feels unnecessary especially after everything employees have navigated in recent years. The previous reasoning given, that leadership wanted to wait until all our kids were out of school, felt insincere and like our personal lives were considered superficially rather than genuinely.
Puft Daddy could become a Zaddy if he announces that the three day schedule is here to stay. A forced shift to an additional day in the office means extra commuting costs, reduced flexibility in caring for our families and an unnecessary emotional burden during an already demanding time/world. We have demonstrated that we are capable and productive while working from home on Tuesdays. The evidence of our commitment and productivity is clear. Those of us still here have already proven we can manage our responsibilities effectively regardless of location. If someone isn’t delivering, their colleagues know it and it’s reflected in the work.
Rather than adding stress and expenses without fair financial compensation, it would be far more effective and appreciated for leadership to show trust in employees by maintaining the three-day policy. Stability, trust and genuine support are crucial right now, not another adjustment that places additional burdens on everyone. It’s exhausting and extinguishing our spirits of doing everything in our fields to do our part to help support the company. Just let us work and do our jobs.
Is anyone in the ELT paying attention to the number of people in HR that have quit just in the last month because of HR Stay Puft Marshmallow man? That team literally has no one left.....
what's the company line on the tariffs? seems it would be a dagger the heart
Couldn’t agree more on the four days in office propaganda! It’s absolutely dreadful considering I already abided by the 3 day rule and have a 2-3 hour commute round trip.
I'm sure we'll all get an inspirational speech about how coming into the office 4 days a week will lead to more revenue desire the fact that most of us have been incredibly productive working from home part of the week. Looking forward to the decreased productivity and commute time!
CAN YOU FEEL THE ENERGY IN THIS ROOM LOL
