Can we for a change lay off those who contribute basically nothing and are not even trying? A guy I work with who's been here for a decade still can’t run basic reports. Meanwhile, the rest of us pick up his slack working late. How does he survive every single round? And why?

@js AR responsibility is to make an orderly exit from their highly visible external roles and then leave the company
@js the person who has this role has run engineering into ground through favouritism and incompetence. A great dei example for certain but realistically a greater example of non-performing leadership
SVP special projects - wonder what’s their responsibility?
I bet this person has the initials R^3.
What happens to the many male prost---tes serving bp board ?
You mean all the SVPs that are still around even though their teams have moved or they’ve been replaced? I think I can count a few..worth a few million that’s easier than laying off or transitioning roles to India.
Same experience here. Tin foil hat theory: they are laying off the top performers so they have an excuse to get rid of the rid as they are "underperforming"
Out of 7 in my team only 3 survived and 2 of them are useless. It is laughable. My self esteem is actually boosted by being selected out as that is not a cohort I would be proud to be associated with.
Maybe nobody told him we're putting new cover sheets on the TPS reports.
