As soon as you are told or you pass on relocating, you’ll be locked out of your computers and treated like a criminal by the company. No one will respond to your questions and you’ll be put in the cold.

Wow. Really sorry for finance guy/girl. That is the worst. Was it across finance or just certain groups?
I just can't imagine even walking in there. This is all obviously well planned out. How do people even keep working? Its over. I guess people should just not do anything stupid to lose their severance. What a shame.

Company is disgusting. They openly discriminate, to put unqualified people in management, merely to follow DEI lunacy. I fell to this, as did others.
No you won't get paid to Aug '24. You'll be given a separation date. 4 of us in finance were cut this afternoon. All of us had our laptops turned off and access cards disabled before we even left the conference room. We were handed boxes and told we have 1 hour to gather our things and say goodbyes. 20 min later security was escorting us 1 by 1. My date is Nov 10, but I was removed from the building. Nothing, and I mean nothing prepared any of us. Another 3 said they will relocate in the group and they went back to their desks and back to work.
@joh+1park7h4 I am a little confused as well. I was under the impression that I would work up until this August date if I chose to leave. That's how my Manager seemed to explain it to me. Or will be let go sooner but just paid until August as part of the severance?
I gave a 60 day notice in '21. Manager was a loon and after 10 years I was done.
They called on teams next day, told me I'd be paid through but done today. Computer went dead. They're a paranoid bunch of birds. Lol.
I fully expected this as it was very common. I shoulda gave a 90 day notice. Between that and Vaca I essentially had 4 months paid Vaca. I took two and got a better job.
But we will still get paid until august ‘24? Doesn’t sound too bad…
