Thread regarding Goodyear layoffs

Let’s keep our heads people. This is literally all speculation.

Unless there are some real facts out there that there will be layoffs in the US, I would take anything on here with a large grain of salt. There is no one who actually works at the HQ hearing there will be layoffs. The company is currently hiring and extending offers. If things were that bad, why aren’t they on a hiring freeze?

@jku+1oM7miX1 Fully agree. That is one of the biggest problems at GT. The coveted suits don't do math. They are marketing people and sales weasels. They just jive, eject hot air and brown-nose with upstairs hoping not to get laid off.

Wonder who the homer is writing this garbage. Rich don’t you have more important things to do, like keep the company from bankruptcy? Those debt payments are getting more expensive as the credit rating decreases and the fed increasing!

Wanna put money on it???? SO what you are saying we are not giving into Elliot’s demand of $227M in SAG savings? How will we get there when between Europe and Asia you only got $100M. Its simple math and obviously you are part of the reason we are in this situation.
