Does anyone know when bonus pools are determined for 2023? In addition, when is comp technically locked where your manager can’t adjust it anymore.

managers lose access to make changes at successive levels as the process goes on. OC reviews of bonus are in early january and final adjustments/tweaks made after that. As stated in this thread though, even if an individual manager loses access, there can and are changes right up until it processes in payroll... the comp folks have access and can make changes at direction of appropriate level
OP asks when pools are set - that's already done. when comp opens, managers are given a "budget" for merit and bonus and that's that. you can't "spend" beyond that.
Bei Ling fought for 8% merit and won.
Comp? Bonus?
Hah! Don't make me laugh. If you're not in the C-Suite Elite, does it really matter? If you're happy with table scraps and crumbs from the aforementioned Mahogany Row occupants all is well and good I guess. Just don't be disappointed when you look down at your plate and think: Is that all there is?
Feast and be happy!
Same as last year Sparky.
Applying for new jobs over the weekend. Sh-t is so bad that I if I have to leave my bonus, so be it. Anything to get out of this clown a-s operation.

Is Gary getting a bonus in February?

you can search Teamworks for this information. hr has published documents with all the timelines
Comp is not locked for raise/bonus until the week prior when it shows on workday. I’ve heard of numbers changing right up to pay date
comp usually opens up mid Nov and that's when managers put in their recommendations. then between dec and early Jan leaderships calibrates and adjusts as needed with final signoff happening latter part of Jan before it hits payroll.
Even though your manager will pretty much be done in terms of both rating and comp by end of Nov, both can change until released to you in Jan
A coworker on my team had something happen in December/January time frame end up on the evaluation and they did not get bonus because of it.
they can literally take your comp away up to the day before they deposit it.
Nothing is settled before the c-suite goes to Vail. Call it December 15.
I'm wondering the same. Tired of walking on eggshells around volatile mgr. Plan to leave early next year, but can't keep up this charade much longer.
Why? are you planning to cook fish in the office or something but want to wait until comp is locked. Timelines will be searchable if available / published.
