Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

The Layoffs are Here GHQ ATLANTA Feb. 17

Yep. Writing was on the wall. But it finally hit home. I'm actually happy I got RIFD. It's the push I needed to get out of a company that under pays and never Values you as a person. Corporate leadership just gets more money. And the company declines. They will sell or close there doors. Watch. 👀

@g0 They did this to a friend of mine. 6 weeks after leaving another job for NCR. Then they made her an offer in another division, but the offer was blocked by a senior VP after she was notified of it. A few weeks later, the division was moved from Atlanta to another city.

Good luck.

Sitting in meetings yesterday and critical projects deadlines have either gotten pushed down or stopped b/c the resources were RIF'd. Teams in India hit hard. How does ELT expects people to deliver on their overaggressive push to get next generation solutions to current customers (that are getting fed up with current solution issues) and get new customers on board when they're Thano snapping valuable resources out the company?

Can I ask what area you were in? I’m anticipating an offer from them

I had only been there a few weeks 😂 FML. WTH is happening. I don’t know why they even allowed people to hire me if they knew this was coming.

It’s a quarterly pattern. Look at earnings on the calendar. Work back 2-4 weeks. And that’s when they’ll hit. So they can go to the street and show cost reduction pacing with revenue reduction.

It’s a sad place.

@c2 I was well compensated by NCR. To get twice the pay with 1/2 the work would require gaining new skills, (a lot of effort) and a more to Meta or a similar company in a higher cost area of the country.

I left with a smile on my face. The stress at NCR was too high and there was no longer a challenge.

Healthy companies will double your comp for just a quarter of the responsibilities VYX expects.
