Wow truly inspiring how far sheer incompetence and a loud mouth can take someone. It must be exhausting pretending to lead while doing absolutely nothing of value. You’ve mastered the art of saying the wrong thing at the worst time, and somehow still manage to avoid making a single useful decision. Honestly, watching you fumble through this role is the only entertainment left around here. Keep it up your downfall is going to be legendary.

@2j9 I find it interesting they don't see the real issue why this company is failing. Speak to people, clinics, etc. The company's reputation for denying claims and paying doctors is actually causing our clinics to not accept UHC insurance. My eye clinic, I have gone to for 24 years, stopped taking UHC insurance about 18 months ago because they wouldn't pay the doctor.
I know of a school district that contacted with UHC and ended up not finishing the contract for a whole because they denied so many claims.
People are all different. Everyone has different issues that might not be fixed by eating veggies and attending a gym. Medical care is what most customers need. If UHC can't provide that, they will continue to see customers drop UHC.
Look up the article on LinkedIn by Sean Harrington, The Upsala College Haunting. It’s not what the title says it is. It about one of the leaders lying about credentials. Not sure but they are likely going to remove my post. Anyway, the company has terrible leadership, laying off qualified US employees and replacing with subpar off shore workers. Forced ranked performance ratings, another brilliant Candyman initiative, RTO. This place is abusive to workers. You can work many hours, don’t get a raise or promotion, and in fact will eventually be laid off. But it’s expected that you go at 100x?
@hx Nico thirion, and a few others it is alleged!
@jh He is clueless about AI, Cloud and Quantum af.
@jh Great post!! For Candy’s sake can one of his sycophants pass it to him. We know you are here.
Welcome to Optum, where the 2025 motto is “you can't beat our incompetent leadership." While some people say it can't get any worse, the new leadership is coming in and saying, "Hold my beer—let me show you how incompetent we can be." There is something about Patrick Conway I like though, hopefully he brings change and someone smartens up and sends all the incompetent WM tumbleweeds back to Texas, its pure he-l working with them.
Candyman was the sales head of a large Indian IT outsourcing company that he left in a huff because he was passed over for a CEO role. He then joined a candy company where his incompetence again led to him being sidelined. Candyman brings with him a culture of aggressive obnoxiousness where he demands slavish subservience, and when that's combined with a total ignorance of technology or healthcare, what you get is a cringeworthy TikTok show where he and his sycophants pretend they are selling the next tech gadget, not improving healthcare. The sad part is, all this could have been avoided, if the tech org is bloated then the fix for that isn't hiring a blowhard odious salesman who is clueless about technology or healthcare. Candyman will be let go, but he has done long term damage that will take years to repair.
Anyone know who amy cardwell slept with?
We went from wanting to be a software engineering healthcare tech company to something where leadership is marooning with self exploits, inappropriate relationships, outsourcing and offshoring talent.
Might as well bring back Santelli!
Candy is lesser human with only contempt and anger. He is not even interested in success of the company. He pretends to fight issues which doesn’t exist. If Conway and Helmsley is raising doubts, we are for good times ahead.
The first time I saw that little twerp talk I was like who the f is this guy? Huge downgrade from Santelli. I cant wait for him to get canned
Fitting that Wipro's contractors are just as incompetent and full of sh-t as candyman? Would be funny, if it weren't so sad.
Well looks like they are going to move the cockroaches around. So let’s move this guy around and take this fancy title and give him two so he making the same money but shhhh keep him quiet in case he decides to talk.
Candy man= Sandeep Dadlani. He was hired from Mars Chocolate maker. He used to work for Wipro, hence he made Wipro the first preferred vendor to move most of the workforce offshore. There so much more I know, but being concise here.
What did he do this time?
@a4 I don't know who the candy man is. But if the shoe fits Every manager and leader at optum has an IQ of an ant.
This has to be about The Candyman. 😂
