Here is a thought - instead of laying off the workers maybe they should just get rid of anyone with an AVP - CVP - EVP title and the entire ELT. This company has enough upper management to flip a battleship on its side.
Not only would the company immediately become profitable, it would not be affected by the change, it would continue to run as efficient as it currently is...these people do nothing but sit in meetings, push emails back and forth, enjoy generous company perks, and travel around the globe while providing zero $$ to the bottom line all while being a HUGE cost.

Got mine a while ago, if you do get an severance package, make sure it’s a fair deal, if you are unsure, seek advice, they will make it sound like you have 14 days to sign, that’s not true.
