Cheer up, people. I know it is a difficult period, but remember that restructurings are happening all over the place. I have friends and family who were paid off in 2023 across all kinds of industries - finance, tech, pharma. It is not the end of the world. Keep up your skills, look actively for a new job and remember to not overload on debt. Most people freak out at the possibility of losing their job because they have huge expenses/debt/mortgage. Love within your means. Keeping with the Jones's is not a good thing. Enjoy simple life and you will be happier!

Jane is both a DEI hire and promoted as such. By default, she is incapable of doing any wrong. Everyone needs to just back off and give her a break.
