Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Commission Sales

How is Sears going to pay their commission associates if sales are going to be worse than they already were? It can’t be legal that every week we were hitting draw pay. And on top of that they want us to do other tasks. Free labor.

Read your contract. There is probably a line in there about not paying you for somethings or during extaordinary events.

Sears has been on a decline for years now. Why is anyone surprised by issues such as this?

@jek+157vs4lF That's neither here nor their. The question is when is Sears going to pay associates for sales commissions already owed for work already done? It hasn't. This isn't legal. People did not agree to these circumstances, Lincoln outlawed slavery in the Civil War. It has money troubles, everyone here knows this. Where is the money going to come from?

Nobody is forcing you to work there. You knowingly took a commission based job and agreed to those circumstances. How about you quit? Lowes and home depot are hiring but it won't be commission.
