There are gender fluid individuals, who on any given day will decide to be considered “male” or “female”. You can’t ask them which they decide to be for that day as it makes them feel uncomfortable but you need to address them correctly. You are just supposed to know via osmosis or mind reading or whatever.
There are people who have certain trigger words or subjects that makes them feel safe space needy uncomfortable. Again, you can’t ask them what their trigger words are as in doing so is in itself a trigger subject, which in turn they push for immediate dismissal of the offender.
Talking to a few managers who have told me that they find its best to go in and just not say anything to anyone just in case.
So we are made to come into the office as it supposedly encourages collaboration but you’ve created an environment to where no one wants to talk to anyone.
