Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

One of the worst move TU did was a N* acquisition.

I haven't seen anyone from Neustar who is happy about this acquisition. Those below VP gained nothing, and our jobs have deteriorated in every possible way.

Legacy TU folks - we understand your sentiments. But we had nothing to do with this mess and we are in the same boat now.

I’m from the Neustar acquisition as well. We didn’t want to join TU. We still don’t want to be part of TU. Neustar was performing so well. We were constantly reassured how our culture was similar to TU’s. Far from the truth. Neustar associates are miserable being part of TU. I cringe every time I have to listen to Chris Cartwright. I prayed I would be part of the layoffs so I could get out of this company easily. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. All of the new hires of 2023 from my office were let go. It’s heartbreaking. I don’t trust this company, I don’t trust our CEO, and I don’t trust that they will ever do right by their associates.

Neustar is posion pill to TU. Company going to fall soon already they fired old CTO; now new CTO is worst than previous and CEO is dump and investors are getting folled. Employees are betrayed. Tell me one initiative was success since 2019 ???

@jaq+1pPgw4Yx That's what happens when the new CIO comes from the bought company. Overall, the N* acquisition has nothing but a bad move to this point.

The product is so bad too. Idk why tf we paid so much for it.

And... so few of their team members were let go compared to old TU. Why does it feel like we were bought by them and not the other way around??

Both company business and customers are different. See star will soon fade off after su-king money for new migrations so called state of art

Agree. The acquisition was made when the market was soaring but now we both have to take the consequences.

I’m from the neustar acquisition and I agree. We were both better off leaving each other alone. Our bonuses were 10% up, we had so much good benefits, etc.
