That’s the big idea? Bold move. Kind of rough watching Nick Jonas pretend he designed a ring watch in the campaign. Feels more desperate than innovative. I will say, I liked the television spot—but I also liked the “Made For This” campaign spot too. We spent a lot of money producing it, but aside from one of our huddles, I never actually saw it air. Did you? We thought that was expensive? Guess what it cost to have a pretend collab with Mr. Jonas.

God forbid Fossil follow its devotees into aging by producing watches with faces they can read i.e. the big daddy should be marketed to 50’s and over. That age group loves the brand and needs reading glasses.

You all drank some bad Fsl Koolaid!. When was the last time you actually saw someone wearing a Fossil watch or carrying a Fossil leather good? What a travesty - totally not the brand built by all the talented employees from 15-25 years ago. Ring watches- that’s all you’ve got going on. Come on people - wake up!
@j9 I think most people internally are thinking this…they originally had two women’s SKUs but it got dropped. Ryan White designing for himself per usual.

My confusion comes at why are we using Nick Jonas to market to men? What man is a Nick Jonas fan? Young Millennial women are the ones who love the Joe Bros- we should have stuck with including women's product too.
Why Nick Jonas would taint his brand associating with cheaply designed watches that look like an old man would wear them is beyond me… especially when we all know he would not be caught dead wearing a Fossil watch over a Rolex or IWC 🤣
Was the ring watch what was added to the assortment to appeal to women? I remember some chatter about how no one had the foresight that women would want something from the collab that wasn’t a massive Machine watch or masculine jewelry.
