Worst work culture you've ever encountered, so far!
You want to know something funny therr is there's a Union clause in the infrastructure legislation as it stands today and we in the wind industry are actively trying to get at any cost. I didn't even realise you still still had a job I thought the Union died in 1950 where it should have.
You only fool yourself if you think the Benedict Arnold Syndrome can’t be seen. Company uses them, the Company doesn’t care about them and the union members alike. They do it to themselves.
Wonder who wrote this? The Local is only as good what the members will allow the leaders to do? They clearly aren’t involve in local 301. The members haven’t had much say in years.
You don't get the union you want, you get the union you deserve. 301 elected Goomba into the union elected positions. Descendants of Goombas past. They care about themselves, not the local. The Company has a long history of giving elected union leaders more pay and no actual work assignment in exchange for looking the other way and pushing Company favorable deals.
To Flush the Bowl, you don’t just participate in an election of a few every four years and forget about what and why they are doing during their term of office. If your officers made a bad decision in your eyes, you yourself have no one to blame but yourself by placing only your trust in a few. It takes educating and experiencing yourself and wanting your union to make the best decision for the good of the whole not just complaints and whines after a decision or damage is done not to your liking. If any decision was arrived at or passed, you yourself allowed it by not being actively involved to either ward it off or fully understand the issue at hand. Again, it takes work and effort in addition to your 8 hour working job and most members aren’t willing to put forth the extra time and energy towards it. So, you get what you get in your union local. The Local is only as good what the members will allow the leaders to do.
@izi+1bevMk5d. It all starts at the hall. When you have a group of good for nothing's courting the company, with only their best interest in mind, nothing is going to change. The CA is a perfect example of that.
I agree, this work culture is based more upon lip service and not a good honest “physical” days work like it use to be. It’s who you know and who you can blow. Every man for themselves and no one around them. Unfortunately, the damaged could have been prevented if courageous people were willing to step up and call it out at the time it was happening. Once so much damage exists, it’s too late to go back and correct unless again u have EXPERIENCED and courageous ones willing to stand up and do to lead in a different direction. The problem is no one trusts anyone else anymore to believe them.
Here's the "deal" people, we're ALL born into this ultra-competitive environment where those at the "top" are sh*tting down (talking and putting down others) on ALL those trapped in the lower-rungs of this He-l on Earth they've created for ALL OF US, and most of the "Politicians/Professionals/Academics/Religious Leaders" (The Sycophants) are just going along with it all... and then they wonder why NOBODY wants to "work" for them??
Something/someone PLEASE, SAVE US from OUR OPPRESSORS (The Classist Azzholes at the "Top")... it's been "Them" ALL ALONG...
And I worked at Chevron!
