If you're a low level manager or should I say metric police officer then the answer is NO raise. Just be glad you have a job. And remember, a new broom sweeps clean. Looks like that other Company wasn't too bad.
It is official but hasn't been told to everyone that there are no raises.

Hell 5 got laid off in my old group. The others saw writing on wall and started leaving. So many left at once they actually started calling some of those laid off to come back.
Raises for TT and his cronies once they tank us hard enough for a buyout. Now enjoy your crumbs and say thank you Tony Thomas!
What area are you in where people we're let go and not finding jobs!
This will likely depend on 1st quarter results.. and that's a big IF. Our stock is low - employees are either hopeless or hapless. More big customers are leaving.. This is the same problem at Centurylink and Frontier.
The end of this year should be a good indicator of which telecom will die and which will climb out.
If you didn't get a raise with the position realignments (didn't get realigned), you are likely not getting one.
Everyone keeps saying the grass is greener else where... most of the employees that were laid off in my area are still looking for new positions. The other half just accepted the 1st sh--ty offer they got at the local temp office / competitor. And there are the few who were picked up and are now making more.... but that's not a certainty.
Come on people... just give us one more year without a raise. Besides, we need to put tires on the NHRA car we are sponsoring.
I guess it depends on who is top of your vertical. I know Dobbins said in the all hands call no raises. Used the bull sh-- line about would rather save a job then raises... But will have both at the end if the day. Pump your resumes out get out while the getting is good.
