What size of a layoff will happen in August ? Will it be global?

@4ncz+1tz1wxwR Who decided which two individuals need to be laid off from your group? Was it the manager, HR, director, or VP?
There is going to be layoffs in August, manager here in Software Engineering and I've been informed of 2 from my group.
Largest so far, stay tuned.
You will see cuts in some areas as high as 35%. Good luck everyone

Maybe the targets are inflated so nobody will hit them which reduces payout.
Last quarters earnings were good, no indication this quarter will be any different

Perhaps it's been good in your area but for my district it's been bad for the first half of the year.

The abuser often questions the mental health of the ones they abuse.
No one knows for sure. But, it's easy to ascertain something will happen due to lack of sales. Consolidation, layoffs etc are inevitable due to declining sales. Just look up past similar postings and you'll see people asking the same question over and over again with people just guessing.
Dell managers are too busy on layoff sites spreading misinformation . they don't really pay attention to communications at work.
What we do know are execs are selling off stock in the billions which indicates tough times ahead for the mid and low tier workers.
Prepare to be laid off as there is no real strategy other than to raid your 401k so billionaires can make trillions.
