PJB needs to be next. How that id–t is where he is just shows we are greatly mismanaged. He is even worst than GV.

Betting CB is sweating it out. He should be out the door before the month ends.

If you’re making numbers up, assume 4500 LAPC at buyout of which 1100 qualified for VSP of which 80pct were accepted and granted.

@gmc+14gUJxlr Ok great. 25%

And this justifies an entire new layer of Management?

You all are funny if you think there’s only 10% of LAPC still around. 950 took VSP, probably another 400-500 at most got COC and the rest are still at Oxy. Do the math and maybe 25% left.

@kfx+14gUJxlr No kidding. And 90% of LAPC took VSP. So another layer of management to manage who exactly?

Did they give the promotions pay raises? Or was it just a title change to continue the circle-jerk?

IT botching the integration is the biggest joke I’ve ever seen. And what do they get? Managers promoted to directors. Directors promoted to VP.

@ixb

Forgot about GV, although he seems to be the Court Jester of Oxy.

He didn’t seem to be in the APC acquisition loop. He led the purchase of the old COP building whilst the M&A sh*t was swirling around. Why do that when it was clear that the merged company could not fit in the facility.

@qri+14gUJxlr It should be Vangolen and the entire management layer in his org. Business support is horribly run group with more layers of management than wedding cake.

Every try getting IT to do something? We'll be waiting until the wells run dry out here in the Permian.

Who do you think the next exec will be that is shown the door? Why haven't any of the useless directors that OXY loves to overpay been shown the door yet? So much bureaucracy at this company its hard to get anything done. Here the worker bees are with a 30% pay cut doing all the work for these middle managers that do not do anything themselves. SMH.

Pretty sure Oxy coined the term LAPC, not us

HEB is a good company. The largest private company employer in Texas. Go apply there in a management position or management training position. I am sure the job stability and security are much better than the oil industry.

I have a feeling the company is going to be majority LAPC by the end. They have lay-off protection and too much money with severance to just leave. Oxy has done a terrible job with the integration and will feel the blunt of Carl’s wrath. I have been with oxy a few years now in midland and we have never been a top producer even though we have the largest position. It’s sad but part of it.

@cri: You also forgot about GV. That poor excuse needs to go as well, and enjoy his Hawaiian shirts in shame.

No accountability until:

OKB’s pay and bonuses from mid-2017 to his last day are clawed back

MU is pushed out at WES and same for his pay and bonuses

PJB (aka #BlueSkies) is also fired and all pay and bonuses from mid-2017 are clawed back.
Why would any company ever put a shyster accountant in charge of Permian Resources?

And the same for VH after she publicly apologizes to all Oxy shareholders, employees (current, VSPERS and laid off) and retirees as a fitting cap to her “legacy” of arrogance and stupidity (two sides of the same coin)!

Fyi: Its not Legacy APC who has failed to integrate With Legacy Oxy, its Legacy Oxy who has failed to meaningfully integrate us. We have no communication from our Oxy “Management”. Three meetings since the acquisition. Oxy has not migrated our equipment/provided Oxy system access, nor has Oxy integrated us into the larger IT infrastructure. I asked to go sit in Greenway, they said no. So piss off with this nonsense that we are being stubborn and spoilt. They have abandoned us, not the other way around. Don’t be mad we are sitting on our feet collecting a paycheck while you get worked like a dog because of sh– management.

wli - I am going to assume you are just someone that wants to stir the pot. If not you are exactly the reason not only Oxy people, but many in the industry think Anadarko was nothing but spoiled arrogant asses. I worked at Anadarko many years and there were some great guys under Allison and some of the best people I have ever worked in the industry worked there, but they had class and were not arrogant like you. When Hackett came along things were really nice as well, and many of the old guard appreciated his efforts as well. Once the good guys started getting let go the arrogant ones started to rise to the top. You are right that Oxy turned out to be bad for a lot of you spoiled folks, but without many of the guys left APC was not much better in the end. All of you arrogant LAPC are more than welcome to go find a job. Hell you work for Oxy and still separate yourself by calling yourself LAPC. By the time the company was bought that LAPC had went down the tubes, and working at APC was no better than anywhere else. If you were so good you would still be in business. One day that LAPC brand will have to come off. You make it sound like LAPC are still getting offers in this environment, and I would disagree unless it is working for HEB, Kroger, Walmart, or another grocery store. If you can get an offer please leave now.

Icahn is about to gut this company! Piece it up and sell it off to make his investment back. Would be surprised if all of the laid off LOxy people ever work in the oilfield again. LApc will get big pay outs, ride out the low oil price climate and find jobs relatively easily. EOR... what in the world is that bs, what a joke of a company!
