Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

I never thought I'd see the day that Walgreens is closed on a holiday.

I'm guessing it's to save money, due to financial issues, but at least employees get a well deserved day off.

It's because this company is sick...literally. Never would they have wasted such a great opportunity for sales, never. The wheel is broken. Fire the Board and fire this leadership team; Tim, Neil, AND Tracey Brown!!!!!!!!!!

@iub+1vIDh9XQ Not entirely true. It costs money to be open, in overhead expenses like utilities, payroll, insurance, rent, etc. So, If it costs you say $1,000 a day to be open, and you only make $500 for the day, then you're losing money on that day. Plain and simple.

Not complaining. Employees deserve the holiday off. I guess Christmas off was too much to ask for. Wonder if we'll get our $25 in bonus points this year. So generous!
