All the people received the RTO letter from San Ramon office are going to Dallas and Atlanta
Is the office closing?

There has been an uptake of covid today so they are forcing T employees at SR to wear masks. However, if you check the cafeteria and other offices - no one is wearing masks. One of many ways to upset employees and compel them to leave.
RTO has resulted in damaging results to companies that made it a policy:

If you’re not supporting Market/ Retail all those positions are being moved Dallas/ Atlanta. Those other 7 HUB locations are slotted to be closed by EOY 2024.
Remember, this exercise isn’t really about “collaboration”.
Who want to go to SR office?
Commute is bad
Food over priced and bad quality
And I never experienced a real collaboration in that office
No one know anyone and you could spend years in that office and no one will say GM to you
Not all groups were told to leave San Ramon. Many of us have been told we report in September to San Ramon
My org is still reporting to San Ramon, but North wing. We were booted out of West wing a long while ago. It was said that we are over capacity by 1000 people. Talks are with HR and GRE to determine a path forward which may include fewer in office days . Rumor has it we will eventually leave CA, in 2 years potentially?
Godspeed to all those that make the move.
Everyone used to work from SR office notified to move somewhere except mobility, I didn’t receive the notification yet and non of my colleagues in mobility, even though verbally been told to prepare for the move to Dallas sometime late this year or early next year
Start using #AtlantaBound or #DallasBound on your socials.
Yes SR office in bishop ranch is closing and no regrets
The commute was so bad I hated that office every day
“AT&T still holds the lease at Willow in Pleasanton and will be leasing more space there at Willow. It’s going to be cheaper than SR”
Is this the same building we used to work from before moving to SR in 2014?
Legg’s organization in San Ramon all notified to report to Dallas and Atlanta
I am going end of the month to Dallas
AT&T still holds the lease at Willow in Pleasanton and will be leasing more space there at Willow. It’s going to be cheaper than SR
That is a good observation
No one that I know was notified to report to San Ramon office including managers used to work from there
Unfortunately the part we have is listed for lease by the bishop ranch
Depends on your organization, I know ATS will be in Dallas, Atlanta, new jersey and Seattle only after wave 2, mcelfresh org has more hubs including one I know thats st louis
I never liked this office building, the commute was horrible
The part that we still rent in the BR building west wing is listed for lease
So the short answer is yes, at&t is leaving San Ramon
