@ioz+17vYinsj what division are you in?
This was last oct.

Of course they brought up the OC Tanner points! Apparently it's like a gift to us, so we pay tax on its equivalent cash value. I was part of the RIF in July. I know the feeling, and to me it was like being separated from family, but getting out of town for a few days helped me a lot. Hang in there.
In my meeting with HR and my manager, they asked also asked me about what I wanted to do with the
OC Tanner Points I had accumulated! among other things. At-least that made me chuckle.
Prior threads in this forum and information outside of this forum appear to indicate all divisions and support corporate support functions are in scope. There appear to be some that were already told their last day is this week or next. Since WFH, the method described is accurate.
Prior to WFH it was a group all-hands first thing in the morning, everyone told to go back to cubes and wait for "the call" or not. Imagine the tension and sadness in the cube farm when someone's phone rang and they got up. Another rang and they got up. Another rang and they got up. This would go on for hours before an all-clear would come. In some groups, it spanned two days.
Unclear if this is a continuation of the prior layoffs targeting "30% reduction", or if this is a new wave getting ahead of the now annual Dec/Jan financial assessment and resulting reductions. Heart goes out to all this week.
Is it the same day for all divisions - CED, PRO?
Usual Bose process is an email will be sent out by manager and hr by 6 pm for a meeting next day. So if did not get an email, then you are safe for now. God knows how long 🤔
You get the email end of day right after working hours for a meeting with your boss.
