Nothing new about mass layoffs at Amdocs, in spite of good financial results.
The twist in the recent waves (far from over) is that it reached deep into tenured/senior/aged people, globally and including Israel.

Someone told me:
They layoff people based on age = ageism and they promote based on politics.
Customers find that:
There is no innovation since well over a decade and more. They have to acquire instead.
So, this is beyond the situation in the country and the NA economy blah blah blah.... this has nothing to do with any of it.
Amdocs has major issues ahead and there will be cuts, deep cuts in 2024. The economy is crumbling under the weight of inflationary pressure and pullbacks in the NA core markets in CAPEX spending will likely bring Amdocs to tighten spending and cost controls which will be seen in layoffs among senior staff especially in the near term.
