If Paramount doesn't take over WBD they don't have the content. If they do the company's debt balloons to $70b. It's a lose/lose.

@hy As many of us learned the hard way.
@hy this is it.
@f5 Root for the company all you want but the company won’t be rooting for you when they lay you off.
@f5 Our company has had its reputation destroyed more every single day Ellison has been in the big chair. Why would any of us root for him to ruin another company alongside the one he's already tanking?
@f5 just here to collect a check at the end of the month, that’s all.
@f1 well with all due respect you work at paramount so you should be rooting for our company.
Netflix will impact theaters, but Paramount is likely to eliminate far more jobs. If I were sitting in a WB seat, I’d be rooting for Netflix, because WB’s track record says the alternative is another merger where a bad business plan turns into a slow-motion crash. Ask AOL. Ask AT&T. Ask Discovery.
@b9 Okay, but what do you expect to happen if he doesn't get WBD? Paramount is dead if it doesn't happen.
@b2 the worst take I’ve seen on here in a long time
@b2 misinformation. you realize it's public info that DE is planning on eliminating twice as much as Netflix in terms of "synergies" right
I'm no fan or either DE or Netflix, but in this case, based on how the industry might end up, I would prefer DE winning this one. Netflix would ki-l all the jobs. DE, would only ki-l some of them.
Nepo baby is not going to lose. He has never been told no. Now that he has become a Trump boot li---r like his dad he has a good chance.
Huge Plot Twist…the bad guys might win in the end of this movie…
