So many opportunities to develop, diversify and deploy sound business tactics have been missed. Model under which we are operating now has no future. CVS will just drag itself to the finish point, shedding decent employees, talent and missed opportunities along the way, for as long as some cash can still be squeezed out for the top and shareholders. Just leave. The sooner, the better. There is life outside CVS.

So true, I left over two years ago retired early at 58 and loving life. There is a new chapter after you leave CVS just leave that company in the rearview mirror and move on it ruined Aetna and all the dedicated employees. Hopefully they sell that off to another company to bring it back to life again, and hopefully CVS sinks. You get a 30% discount as an employee, but I can’t bring myself to even go into those stores to buy anything
There is a new trend of exiting CEOs - Starbucks, Nike, ...
There is solid information everywhere. How much has been spent in the last 10 years on acquisitions and what’s the ROI? Based on stock being half what it was then to now-none. How about omnicare they sank that business nobody would touch it.
Medicare stars? The PBM legal debate? Fines? Lawsuits for unsafe practices, employee law violations, and unethical practices of oak st.
Strategic Layoffs are happening to keep it quiet.
@rqb+1uAACsHJ so you are here to just bi--h and complain? Got it.
@htu+1uAACsHJ Not a "vague know-it-all comment". It's not hard at all to see that CVS is in trouble. And you don't need "solid info" to see this. Just open your eyes and look around you.
It’s a site for layoffs not for people to bi--h and complain and think they have all the answers. We want solid information about layoffs. Go to Reddit to complain, you will have a larger audience there.
Solid info on what? Medicare still losing money, oak street fined 60 million, people getting fired left and right...until Karen and her evil side kick are tossed expect more of the same. This company has a mountain of debt that will never be paid off...
Leadership has no idea what is going on.
Someone requests solid info instead of complaining.
Response is more complaining with vague no-it-all comment.
Real helpful /S
Solid info?? Just look around you, the place is a sinking ship. Hours cuts, layoffs, store closures, massive debt, stock is down, Karen is losing control, executives being fired, etc, etc. what more proof do you need?
We need Karen fired asap! She is not competent given the recent oak news. Question 1 during any due diligence " are you under any investigation for fraud?" That guy from oak still hanging around also needs to be fired yesterday.
We need solid info right now. Not more complaining.
