So now we have been using our international centre of excellence for a while how are we finding it?I've got a person that has taken of 40% of a FTEs work and says he is now fully utilised.... Any other anecdotes?

Indeed @hpk+1vRldeEW bp did a good job of holding this off because to some extent you need to have some kind of footprint in countries where you have assets. But I guess there will be a race to offshoring between the companies with each round of cost cuts to the point where there will be limited footprint in the expensive centres Houston, Sunbury etc. will be interesting to see what the govts make of that..a lot of talk about sustainability and wellbeing but what happened to economic responsibility?? does it just have to be about maximising profits!

Labor productivity factors are different in every country. Skillset availability is also different, and particularly challenging when we need skills that we cannot provide training for in-country. We are doing this because the other supermajors are and there isn’t a politically correct answer we can give to justify not opening TSI.
