The morale is so bad you can cut the tension with a virtual, remote knife. So much uncertainty and dark cloud of March-rumored re-structure is overhead.

Can someone explain the acronyms above?
@9dzl+19kugLsQ There are. Just lost a major client in the RPO space. Some might be Abel to stay but this was a large client. Hundreds of jobs will be affected. Some will be laid off June some October. Talk of a severance package. Who wants to wait around long enough to get laid off?
I am hearing about layoffs too. Not sure exact timeframe but in GTO.
@8zpv+19kugLsQ - Good one Carlos! You really think 4 straight years of layoffs ends just like that when the company is in such a mess? You need some more "real" sources!
Odd, my sources are saying there will not be layoffs.
My sources are actually real.
Heard more talk today of more significant layoffs starting in March.
What would you expect? Tension is all due to people in positions they have no business in being in. Way over their head... especially most of the VP's and SVP's.
The "Dead Weight" is clearly those 40 and under from a performance, experience, and capability perspective. I see all the hiring over the past few years to replace those experienced with young and cheap "filler" employees. And that has had a hugely detrimental effect on the company and client satisfaction. I am sure there are a lot of folks who might not want to hear that, but the truth is the truth.
Who actually cares? Not me. I'm just like you, riding out this for everything I can get while I sit in my pajamas. Won't lift a finger more to do anything I don't absolutely have to after how bad this place has become.
Plenty of dead weight laying around. The group that missed the VERP by 2-3 years seems to have all but thrown in the towel, just going through the motions.
Sad, really.
@hop+19kugLsQ - thank you for sharing. How big are these reductions?
The "pajama employees" do indeed deserve to get the boot! Especially those wearing sponge bob pJ's!
Uncertainty and layoffs can hit anyone whether they are wearing pajamas or not. And I agree that incompetent and insensitive management is causing these problems. Management doesn't care about morale or productivity of the employees. All they know how to do is lay off and save on labor costs.
Tension? You’re sitting at home in pajamas!
You’re binge watching ‘ The Office’
Puhlease!
I think much of the "tension" you mention is due to the poor choice of management. Most do not have knowledge or even good people skills, and that is a recipe for all things bad.
GPT - GETs.
I haven't heard this... can you share any more info?
