Phase 2 Counties, any update?

After the RTO announcement, there were countries that Dell could not enforce their B.S. and had to go through legal channels to force people out. I live in one of these phase 2 countries. Not heard anything since...

I am from a country where healthcare is "free". The problem is the wait times to see specialists, E.R. locations, MRI, Ultrasound etc. has become extremely long over the last few decades. There are instances where the number of patients coming in to E.R.s are so large that in some cases, these emergency cases are not seen in a timely manner and deaths have occurred. You also have nurses and doctors asked to pull multiple shifts and burnout is occurring. These professionals seek better opportunities in other countries.

Companies will forever be "cost shifting" to countries where labor is cheaper. This won't change. Movement around the world to lower cost centers which include China, India, Vietnam, Egypt etc etc. Although, some of these countries have become more expensive. The strong U.S. dollar against these countries is expediting this process.

Good comeback American. All fun and games until you go bankrupt if you get seriously ill.

No such thing as “free healthcare “ — taxes pay for it. As an American, I’d prefer my taxes stay here vs supporting Ukraine and other countries.

Some of the phase 2 countries had to pick remote/hybrid already (Romania, Czech Republic and there might be some more). Site leads for my country keep saying it will happen around Nov/Dec for us, we will see.

I find it funny when Americans refer to others as third world sweatshops. Your country doesn’t event deem you worthy enough to give you free healthcare

This is why Dell is trying to outsource to third world sweatshops as much as possible.
