I don't see Wisconsin having a layoff ever again.
They continue to post jobs . Some open for over a year. From what I hear it's the manager named Joe that drives the employees away. Many forums and web sites refer to him as a dictator, back stabber, and my fav, a boot li---r.
Well after the Corporation call Uncle Nick came short of more layoffs. Start licking more boots Joe or your days are numbered.
'Of' and 'off'. Entirely different words.
Thanks for the correction. Maybe you should work at Frontier and correct their mistakes.
Is it laid or Layed?
It is a regular verb, but note the spelling of the past simple and -ed form: laid not layed: Shall I lay the tray on the bed? A wonderful wooden floor has been laid in the dining room.
Wisconsin struggling to fill positions. What's the issues within the state.
My guess they are afraid of getting layed of down the road.
Possible management issue?
Jobs are back on Indeed.
Jobs for Wisconsin were pulled on Indeed. 9 exists on the Frontier careers website. Might be more cuts here in Wi
Not sure what goes on here when 12 jobs are open after 57 employees are let go.
Well sir when you have a Director that shoots his mouth off all the time, you pick up on things that tends to sink ships.
Just passing on what we hear. Right or wrong time will tell.
Must be true if you say so.
Ok then. Just watch by first qtr. 2024 this will all be over.
Once the HQ moves to Texas and Midwest properties are sold off ,FTR will not exist north of Missouri. Buyers want our pipe to the world not old air pressured copper cable and slow internet.
Wisconsin is trimming the fat as you read this. Up for sale is Wi and IL as a package for the infrastructure on our internet pipe to Chicago . Current upper management and Directors for both states are on board but only one director will be staying to over see transition (most likely IL) director. Wi guy gone. This
Wisconsin can't hire outside techs due to work environment that started with current director. His reputation/ belittling/contract violations has techs leaving in droves. Less techs and long response times equals customers leaving for Spectrum and TDS.
can't the union stop the layoffs? why pay dues?
Employees with communication skills like that explain why we're doing so bad.
Likely, one of Frontiers diversity hires.

English, please @hgt+1nU9eYI1!
It’s not the copper lost the fiber will need these people there automation like simple don’t always work. People aren’t going to buy anything with frontier name on it after su-k poor services for last 3 years. We need to be renamed not rebranded. Spectrum went bankrupt 20 plus years ago they were call charter upgraded there plant and stock always in high $200 a share range Frontier to late to the speed game. They realize now there fiber isn’t selling like it should to much other options with out the problems. I’d pay double for a good meal. If I get bad meal from restaurant maybe try one or two more time if doesn’t get Bett they never will get by business
Is this due to less call volume on copper?
