Thread regarding Hy-Vee layoffs

HyVee financial troubles

HyVee must be in some financial trouble if they are cutting programs to save money for the company. HyVee is a billion dollar company and they are try to save cost by getting rid of employees benefits. Tell me you are not in financial trouble without tell me you are in financial trouble.

@OP I heard from a competitor (guy is in upper management) that Hy-Vee has been taking market share lately where we are.

@d8 Unions don't work in industries with small margins like groceries, or any retail company, really. That and too much turnover.

HyVee doesn’t value its employees. It’s been that way since Randy was the CEO. I feel like HyVee could be a great company to work for again but we would have to start a UNION to get fair treatment. It might be time to look into union options to help HyVee to realize they can’t treat career employee this way anymore.

It’s all for profit a the top. Employees shouldn’t have to pay to be a PERKS MEMBER. The greed at the office is disgusting.
