Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

IBP adjusted so we can’t all reap the success?

Dell adjusted the FY27 company bonus plan to have a lower waiting on a revenue this year.

Dell knew that the revenue would be much higher this year when contracts were booked in fy26, sales were rewarded. Revenue follows cost/shipping (accounting).

Is this true?

Okay… yes all you directors and i10s may have shares LTI. But most of us i6-i8 have squat :(

@dp I didn't fail out of high school. I dropped out during sophomore year and got my GED. By the time my classmates were graduating I already had 2 years experience working in IT and several certifications. I'm an I10 at Dell now and still don't have any formal education beyond 10th grade.

@dd Ypu don't need a 4 year degree to know the difference between the two. He'll, I dropped out if High School and I know the difference. A degree these days is just a piece of paper proving you gave a bunch of money to an institution that is supposed to be providing a higher education.

@b9 think OP just meant “lower waiting on revenue”, not “lower waiting on a revenue“.

IBP % is increased based on performance vs revenue targets and margin targets. Both have a different waiting, company changes them annually.
