@h86 Oh yea, for sure, very hard right, lmao. Diversity day is a holiday they get off. Their workers attend multiple keynotes per year about LGBTQIA+ and women in tech. Someone I know was on a hiring call and I overheard an employee say that they should hire the applicant because "it would be nice to have more women in the office" which is unethical and quite belittling. You are right though in that everyone is a carbon copy though, just in the opposite sense. Many have the same opinions politically. It's cafeteria style diversity they want - people that look different but believe in the same things. People laughed and joked about the "submarine" that imploded because "f the rich" even though a kid died on it. People routinely take jabs at anyone in the public eye that is conservative on meetings. Now not everyone thinks this way, its just that you can say it out loud and not get an HR complaint or fired which is not true if you were to openly support a slightly conservative ideal or nuance. Some have been let go since a lot of DEI was a product of cheap money and ESG bonuses. Don't worry too much though as soon the company will become much less white and much more Indian. Big plans are ahead to move to cheaper labor and Indian in-group hiring is and has been happening for a while.
Does DEI still exist at Genesys? Seems like a lot less interest n diversity. Everyone seem like a carbon copy. White.Privledged.SelfServing. Look around. The culture has shifted far right.

@OP do you think layoffs are still coming? seems like lots more performance and micro mgmt going on lately. as a more “mature” employee of a certain age im starting to feel like theres a target on my back. i know the company probably wants to get rid of me and move my role overseas to save money.

Significant rif happening late aug thru early sept. Take your vacations now. Second half budgets being slashed due to margin protection and investor optics. Do not be the fool.
