"Elevate pain"... Freudian slip?
MDT used to be a company that was worth going the extra mile for and I was happy to do it. The focus used to be about the first tenet of the mission “To elevate pain, restore health, and extend life”. Now, it’s all about the shareholders and hitting more and more aggressive targets with fewer and fewer resources. “Move with speed and Decisiveness” while @delivering results the right way” AND (because don’t forget, MDT is an AND company now) “Do less better”, which really means do more perfectly because we cut positions.
Welcome to large corporation. You are just a number to them. If you go the extra mile this year, it will become the new normal.
This is true of any company where you don't have ownership stake.
Sounds like you have been enlightened.
