Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

EMTEC Hadcount

Seems like EMTEC is planning to increase the PIP % across all of its organizations this year. All the made up LCS roles are being reassigned back into research, Done with stories used to justify CL upgrades . At the same time, we are seeing significant redundancy across research functions, and there is heavy hiring within BTC on computational modeling, RTO, and data science groups.

Shell Global Solutions has already installed high throughput pilot plants in their research facility in Bangaluru, India. It is just a matter of time before ExxonMobil Bangaluru, India follows Shell Global Solutions.

Maybe ExxonMobil Clinton will eventually migrate all R&D to India.

With the job opening announcements posted on LinkedIn in the last six months, it is very apparent that very few employees from Annandale/Clinton, New Jersey are moving to EMHC in Spring, Texas.

Just look at the resignations/retirements posted on LinkedIn in the last 12 months to confirm.

Clinton will officially turn out the lights in 3Q2027.

"I recently visited our Technology Center in Bangalore to participate in a two‑day forum and a series of EMTech events. The energy, ideas, and technical excellence shared throughout the sessions by our India colleagues were truly inspiring.

Conversations on growth, talent, and impact highlighted the powerful role EMTech in India plays in shaping ExxonMobil’s future. Thank you to everyone who contributed their insights and enthusiasm. I’m excited about the momentum underway and what we will keep building together." MZ's post

EmTech PIP needs to be higher because as a busienss they have not contributed to the bottom line at all.
