I hope so, I declined the Vbo and now I want to get laid off. I’m a white male. Sick of my I.S job in Mmk.

hiring phone reps is not really hiring? You're backfilling people that left.
FYI, they will still do layoffs even if one group is hiring. You can just be in the wrong group at the wrong time. It has happened before and it will happen again. When? No idea.
I am hoping for layoffs. They're like a nice, exfoliating face scrub when done right.
No - Fidelity still hiring like crazy. Was in a meeting were one group was going to hire enough to grow 50% over the year and biggest worry is finding qualified workers. Not even close to layoffs.
