If you really care about yourselves and your mental care, get out of here.
I am free of this joke of a company since June.

Not met one happy person in this place. Everyone is depressed and demoralized.

No offense but you are 60 years old ?
Reason I asked is it seems the company get rid of most workers over the age of 50yr
The place is a sweat shop. We have gatekeepers on the vacation calendar and micromanagers that time my lunches and I’m a 60 year old man. Worst job EVER. So many miserable overworked people
Low quality workers meet better highly skilled H-1b visa.
So agree. Was just shy of 30 yrs at state street when laid off in 2019. Will be at my company five years next month. Different industry and a company that treats employees well

9 different Mgrs during your time at this place yikes.
As for being moved around I know it was hard not knowing when you be axed.
But on the semi positive side being moved kept you working there.
I remember when my coworkers and I were given a 4 month layoff notice.
We scrambled trying to find other jobs within the company with no luck.
I was willing to be retrained, take a pay cut just to have a job . Reason being I was in my
late 50's and knew the job market for people over 50 was slim to nil.
I've been here 9 years. I've had 9 difference managers in 3 years. The majority of the moves were not optional and moved to something I have no experience in. Once I was moved and only found out because Workday changed. This July I was laid off. Disappointed but not surprised. This company is a joke.

Agree the many issues are,
- All the qualified workers and Mangers will let go over the years.
- Now you have too many unqualified people being hired to save money
-
The work being done in India is subpar which slows down the workers in the U.S
Which means I have to explain to my Boss why the staff is falling behind.
I worked with our offices in Asia, Canada and Europe and never had issues .
But working with Indian staff is like being in Hades.
State Street is truly a crazy place to work. I've been there for 9 years and have never been managed properly by anyone. No one really knows what I do and no one ever really checks! The company is a vortex of chaos on every level as it tries to respond to more and more regulatory sanctions raining down. It is increasingly full of "diversity hires" and run by cliques and the exec layer changes so much it's just a joke. I want out but have spent too long to leave empty-handed. So, I'll sit tight and wait for the axe. Irony everywhere, e.g. folks being harassed and bullied to accelerate work that will ultimately lead to their unemployment.

North America is burned out.
Which of the following finally made you see the light, to leave this emotional he-l hole.
- The nonexistent to maybe tiny bonus
- The nonexistent to maybe tiny pay raise
-
Being forced to do double and triple workload due to the lack of staff , because of
layoffs.
