Does anybody know more about yesterday's layoffs in California? Is that an isolated incident or should the rest of us be worried about the continuation throughout the week?

@ID: @3tdv+1ud8Hdgo. I am whacked out but not delusional. If anybody buys what K@mala and crew are pushing with their absurd "freedom, fun, kumbaya" sessions, then you must believe Jane to be Mary Poppins

You’re FN WACKED DELUSIONAL OUT... !!!
I am part of lay off group in CA. My last day is 8/30/24.
I don’t see anything in the news about a Citi layoff in California, is there such an article out there?
Yes. Of course you should be worried. Have you ever heard of a company committing to multiple thousands of job losses over multiple years and expecting employees not to be worried or for it to affect motivation and loyalty? No. Me neither. It’s a disastrous strategy especially when those engaged to set strategy are not the ones losing their jobs. Not one of them. Not one.
This just in. According to the WH finance spokesperson, Citi has not laid off anybody in the past 3.5 years, and in fact has added 17 million jobs this year alone. Plus, everybody is paid exactly the same because we're totally equal.
I say just stay on your toes, keep your resume up to date, and keep interacting with your network(s). Don't be surprised if it happens to you or those around you. I think it's safe to say that at this company you just never really know. I'm looking at the reality of things as I was surprised to see that CA was impacted this week. Best of luck to all.
I heard its still bring rolled out
