SearsAuto.com no longer lists the 15 closing stores. Instead it now says this:
Auto Centers have closed for business. We appreciate your patronage over the years. If you have purchased products or services and have questions concerning warranty claims, please visit us at https://searskmart.force.com/onlinehelppage/s/article/Sears-How-do-I-submit-an-automotive-warranty-claim
While SearsAuto.com still displays the list of 15 closing locations, it no longer has a Store Locator or any way to make an appointment. So if they aren't already closed, they will be very soon.
Jersey City Auto Center has all shop equipment listed on Facebook marketplace as of yesterday.
Still lists Sacramento/Arden months after the store it was attached to closed.
You know, the DieHard brand used to be a household name, and DieHard batteries were good quality. Surprised that the DieHard auto center concept never took off, it sounded like a good idea, but I guess how Mr. Lampert ran sears/kmart we shouldn't be surprised. That said, the closing of the last DieHard auto center officially ends one of the last vestiges of the old Sears empire. Sad...
8551 Wurzbach Dr is one of the locations listed in the get 50% off everything promotion on the website. The doors are closed, the lights are off and the phones go unanswered but Google says it is open Saturday until 8:00 PM.
I would expect the DieHard auto center to still be open. The stores listed on the SearsAuto.com page are closing, not closed.
Called the Tampa auto center phone number.......it is disconnected.
Called the Die Hard auto center in San Antonio....rang over a dozen times then went dead.
I don't know about that one DieHard auto center. I think it's still open. A quick google search shows it's still open and not closed.

Plus it still shows it open on Yelp too. So still hanging on for now it appears. Rumors of it's demise are greatly exaggerated.
Sears took all auto centers out of https://www.sears.com/stores.html months ago.
If you search for an auto center on https://searsauto.com/SelectStore, you will find stores still listed as open that are definitely already closed, such as Brockton MA and South Attleboro MA.
Sears doesn't even list the Tampa or San Antonio auto center on their website.
The address given in the SearsAuto.com closing announcement is 8551 Wurzbach Dr
San Antonio, TX 78240 . That is the stand-alone DieHard-branded auto center.
I don't know if the other San Antonio auto center, attached to a closed Sears store at South Park Mall, has also closed or is remaining open.
I got a full synthetic oil change on Wednesday for $69 dollars. I was in and out in 30 minutes, same as if I went to the local Jiffy Lube. No complaints here….
Oh ok can I see the link
Yeah, this is the final end for Sears Auto!!! :DDD
15 is all thats left. DieHard San Antonio is already closed on Yelp and got 2 verifications on Google Maps and Sears Auto Tampa is officially closed on their Facebook page a month ago (managed by Transformco)
Thanks for the reminder. I forgot my headlight fluid was about a quart low.
Sears Automotive Tampa Facebook page had statement that they are closed.
Tampa Fl and Diehard auto in San Antonio aren't listed. They may have closed early based of google reviews this week but this is not confirmed.
The Sears auto center in Tampa
Isn't Tampa already closed?
That’s Tampa & another one in San Antonio
my list had 17 centers if the one above is correct that leaves one in florida and one in texas unaccounted for
We're closing 6 locations but feel free to take 50% markdowns at any of our 15 locations...
They forget to add Tampa, FL
@gms+1dLeGeYt I think there are 17 auto centers left. So maybe a couple are surviving the ax for now? I know one of them in Texas is a “Diehard” branded auto center. Maybe that one is hanging around also?
Nobody's proofreading the Sears Auto website these days:
"Visit any of these Sears Auto Location center to Save! "
I take that back. Reloading the page in Incognito mode showed me a list of 15 closing auto centers, which I will repeat here. Of these, 9 are in or adjoining Sears stores that are still open and not (yet) liquidating. I think the other 6 are all at former Sears stores that have closed.

I don't see a closing announcement on that page. Where are you looking?
This list looks pretty inclusive. There are 15 locations on here. How many auto centers are left?
