Most people are wrong. There have been layoffs in GCC as well especially in levels above Manager.
I know at least 3 people in GCC got laid off
Indian business (non-GCC) is a growing profitable market with cheap labor. Don't see layoffs happening, there.
There is huge international businesses with FTEs in India. It has its own bureau called CIBIL that TU bought. Not everything in India is GCC. Ignorance is not an excuse for sneering comments on India . I don't know if layoffs are happening there.
GCC layoffs? That's funny. That's where all the U.S. jobs are going.
