Yes, they really track badge swipes and other metrics such as if you logged on in the office or on the vpn. They're looking for a reason to fire you without severance pay.

@OP yes Citi 388 is actively tracking door swipes, they haven't done anything about it. Most everyone in my business would fail.

@gk only after another 20K get laid off mate. There aren't enough seats in several locations to return to FT in office.

@vv

Wrong. I'm in a major city hub location and NOT all locations require Badge Out swipes.

I can work out of several different Citi addresses/offices WITHIN my hub location. They ALL do NOT require Badge Out swipes.

Maybe in other hub locations, you need to swipe both times going in AND out, but NOT where I'm in.

@fa Citi is. A big org. Not everyone plays by the same sh---y rules of your team. I checked out after 4-5 hours usually for 4 years before retiring with zero comments.

@gk unlikely, as most sites don’t have the space

@fa you’re full of sh-t mate. The report covers all job sites, and not all job sites have badge out. They don’t track badge out on the tableau report. Stop spreading misinformation

@ey I'm a manager too and you're wrong. I get swipe in and out times. Maybe you aren't getting the correct information. Maybe your employees badge in to get coffee and go home. You might want to find out. My Sr management makes it a requirement that 6 hours or it doesn't count. I don't agree with RTO at all but that's the deal. Maybe your area is more lax.

@ey I wish there were more managers like you who care about the work rather than where it is being done from! Thank you for making life of your colleagues better! 🙏🏻

@e7 this is false. I’m a manager and the rto report I get only shows individual badge in swipes each week on a trailing basis. You only appear on the report if you don’t do the full 3 days. And I do absolutely nothing with it cuz rto isn’t being enforced.

Depends on the MD. On my team, people are basically fully remote for years outside a couple times a month and no one is enforcing, has mentioned anything or cares.

Yes and I believe the minimum is 6 hours in the office to get credit for being there for the day. They caught on to people coffee badging.

Your MD gets a report every 4 weeks.

Yep, saw my manager’s dashboard. I forgot my badge one day and it didn’t count my in office day towards the weekly requirement. If they were tracking through let’s say login or something, it would have registered.
