Permian has become a place hipos have to punch their ticket. This means the rest of us no longer have opportunities for career advancement as the roles for higher CL are all being taken by hipos cycling in and out. If you are in operations forget ever being able to get that promotion. You deserve it and would do a better job than the clueless hipo but you will never get the job.

This must be a pioneer poster. Rotating hipos into leadership roles that lack significant experience is the norm across the company.

This is a terrible practice making others on the team feel cheated, useless, rejected, disrespected and/or pushed aside.. You can either leave and find something more supportive of who you truly are as a person or do what I do - take a gummy.

Yes. Seeing this from new boss. Holding up or just totally giving work away. This isn’t work this a war of attrition through how much can you tolerate. Discussing the obvious with these guys is maddening. The rhetoric back is beyond insulting. Good luck everyone.
