Will ISR and AE roles be cut or is this just the crossover roles for now.
I would love to know if people think this will be the first of many cuts as we are driving more online business so im not really sure how some roles will fit going forward.
If everything is pushed online why not push some roles to countries with lower salary expectations?

To all sellers: the account teams are updated on Salesforce as well as roles for each user if you want to type in their name and see what they fall under. I am shocked to say the least.
@ghn+1nY73O8E: Product Teams do not appear to have been impacted in this round. In previous rounds, Dell has targeted Sales/Sales Support types of roles first and then about a month later went to Product Teams.
I am in a product group and on one under my VP that I am aware of has been targeted in this round. Thus, I feel confident that we will be in wave 2. (I hope I am one of them)

September there will be another round. The August round seems to be focused on Sales/Sales Support type of roles. September I expect will be focused on Product Teams.

I get a feeling it's all that competition trolls that would like to see 'specialities' go as that's what mainly stops them from telling lies about Dell
I may be wrong but I like to think it's not all I see is what it appears to be
To answer your question ,it is the first of many and all roles will be impacted. Some will be severe at first,others later.
I know some ISRs and also Channel sales got the memo.
We'll see next week.
It sounds like it's only the specialty roles. Good luck selling without specialists.
