Does verizon really think people want this? the only way to sell it is to trick people into buying it. This is against policy. Why is upper management turning a blind eye to this??

@ivj If an employee signed the contract then yes, that is illegal and forgery. But that's not the usual complaint.

Will the Rep in Northern NJ who sells 50 to 60 hums a month while a large percentage are on the " non usage " report be going Down! LOL maybe they will do it on the next training video he does or when he's on The Presidential cabinet trip to where ever! I bet not! By Verizon retail standards he should be in B2B, running a store,or be a GM in 6 months. With no supervisory background. So ridiculous.

Hums are dumb, people who purchase them are dumber. You can buy a bluetooth OBD2 scanner for $20 on Amazon. Does the same thing, with no recurring cost. The Fortune 50 company preying on stupid. #Verizon
That’s absolutely laughable. This is America, nobody is going to care about the idiot customers who are too stupid to ask or look at the contract they are signing. Cars are sold in a similar shady fashion, same with cable, travel sites like Expedia, the list is endless.
Many managers and reps in MANY locations are currently in the process of getting turned in to HR. They are selling it without telling them about the 2 year contracts or line access charge NO it does not come included in the plan. YOU HAVE TO DISCLOSE ALL THE CHARGES AND CONTRACT AGREEMENT. A class action lawsuit is in the works. My manager as well as many others are part of the problem. Many managers and reps will soon lose their job and if not the company as a whole is shady and has no integrity. Then we will go to social media the news and lawyers. If your an ethical rep or manager we will get in touch with you about signing and testifying against this. Shady reps and managers and DISTRICT MANAGERS be ready. Your going down.
