@wb the insiders know that the guy running the show down in Boca isn’t focused on the most important priorities and the CEO is willing to look the other way. Investment guys don’t understand operations and that is Rich’s blind spot.

On a serious and somber note. The stock market is up 90% since Covid and the company still can't turn a profit ? Something is not adding up especially after 250 people got fired and all the massive benefit cuts and even after all that, no profit? What gives ?

No.
A mutual company is considered a private company because it is owned by its policyholders rather than shareholders.

@m8
They are not private they are a mutual company. They cannot do anything other than demutualize and it will cost them too much money to do that.

@gg

Private companies can indeed seek outside investors to raise capital. This can be beneficial for growth, expansion, or operational needs. Here are the main avenues available:

Types of Investors
Investor Type Description

Venture Capitalists :Provide funds in exchange for equity, often requiring a role in decision-making.

Angel Investors: Wealthy individuals who invest in startups, typically in exchange for equity.

Private Equity Firms: Invest in private companies, often looking for significant returns within a few years.

Friends and Family: Often act as silent investors, providing funds without seeking control over the business.

Crowdfunding Platforms: Allow multiple small investors to fund a project or company, often through online platforms.

The grammar alone in this post should tell everyone the company has not always hired the best or the brightest. The claims made aren’t grounded in fact, just regurgitated nonsense from anonymous voices that have zero credibility. The people who claim they want to help the company, do their absolute best to tear it down. This example along with 85-90% of this message board is complete ignorant fodder.

@ca this is hilarious….anyone who believes Brian would be using “all y’alls” is an id--t and even more clear that the obsession with Brian is completely pathetic….how sad that this company can’t move forward and focus on the future rather than the past.
