The problem is as soon as they're removed the lazy, inept, kiss a## move into place and the circle is complete.

No sir you are wrong escalating does nothing they have powerful lawyers, EEOC won't protect you nor will they work or communicate with you, however, they will definitely talk to Ford's powerful lawyers and open a dialogue. They won't look at any sort of evidence. Or they will say verbally they haven't look at any sort of evidence. You have to understand you are a small fish and unless you have money and power they aren't scared of you because they could just cease and desist you with their fancy lawyers over your truth that was paid for through coercion against you because that is what Ford is able to get away with. You see the State of Michigan needs to protect its interests and so they'll let you process and go through the system, but they won't give you a chance before they decide whether to help or not. Especially when someone isn't doing it for money. If it's for money, believe me they'll help mediate, but remember friend... it's all about the moolah. If you're interested in more, you may have to destroy innocent lives that start out of undergraduate degree and assert a force of power on them that is sometimes above the law. Spook them a little. Crush some opportunities especially for those who didn't really have the same ones as the lawyers growing up. They can't relate because they come from money and are white. But don't say that, because other white people may take offense even though you aren't talking about the humans in general that carry empathy. Just people without empathy that are consumed by $$$

How does that even help you at ford? HR and even speak up would just look at the backside of your documents and say they investigated and nothing is there. Nobody is going to protect you for documenting. Unless you mean escalating..
Accountability is accepted Not ASSIGNED. IF I disagree. With being assigned a ta k doomed to fail I will definitely speak up. You are not going to stick me with the destiny of utter failure. Will I do what is requested? Absolutely and most importantly "document" it too. Don't want to be accused of insubordination. Metallica. "Careful what you say you may regret it. Careful what you wish for, you may regret it". I will make sure you get ALL of the credit for the directive YOU requested. More need to do the same.
Same old same old. Management caters/CRATERS to their own demise. Any company that emphasizes and prioritizes responsibility instead of ACCOUNTABILITY can only exist instead of excel. So who is responsible for incurring huge financial losses? It's not the direct labor in most instances. And what happens to those managers /leaders responsible for said losses? NOTHING. Why? Responsibility without accountability. The inept leaders in a failing situation just LOVE a fall guy.
I love my LL6, but fear my LL5.
