Overheard a manager across the cubicle talking about a 5% across the board reduction next week. I’m in Jersey City. They are definitely acting like a RIF is imminent.

What team do you allegedly work for at Citigroup? Asking as I work in the Jersey City location you allegedly overheard that conversation over a cubicle. Only a single team in Jersey City sit in the area of the floor with cubicles. Majority of desks adjoining each other in rows of four desks. If you cannot name that specific team, with dozens of staff, then your a fraud.

The WARN notice will go up after they're already separated in this case, which is what Citi has been doing.

The only time the media gets something before this board is when they bother to have an insider source. Plenty of insiders on this board, so we get the info first...
Everyone keeps claiming 5%, 15%, 35% and WARN notices. However there is nothing public about any WARN notices. Nothing in the media, just nothing but a handful of people claiming to know things that make no sense and people claiming to have been laid off. If there was anything of note it would have been picked up by the media by now.
