Are we thinking layoffs are going to happen next week on the Atleos side? Almost a year ago is when they laid of techs. Any speculation if its going to happen again?????

Seen an article saying 800 employees were laid off on the 25th. That seems like a large number without hearing any noise….unless that’s a projected number

@152 probably. But I have a feeling that HR email about revoking flex days is to see how many will leave before they start layoffs.

Downsizing? Yeah, I have no problem with that. I have been recommending downsizing since I first got here. I even brought it up in my interview. I say, bring it on.
@gf the best thing anyone at either NCR company could do is organize and get protection similar to what the ceo and board of directors have, with this wildcard corporation the employees need to protect themselves, if I was in a union I would still have my job, my bad boss would have never been able to do what he did based on what h3 was told by people who kissed his a-s trying to get ahead and save their own job, desperate to walk over anyone in their way.
When I was an employee at NCR before the split, and especially after, I was in contact with a member of the IBEW, Doug Williams. who was trying to organize in the southeast. this was when they were forcing 6-day work weeks and pushing my territory into three states, and doing general crazy sh-t. we had good traction for a while, but people got so fed up and started leaving, and we lost so many techs who were trying to organize. Even though I don't work there anymore and haven't in a few years, i wanted to put out his contact info for anyone wanting to organize. End of quarter company wide impact expected but not sure the % of impact. Some initial cuts made this week but remaining majority confirmed end of quarter.

Some folks were already let go this week.know at least 4 who got rif’d.
