Agree with @geyh+1vx8I58m. In my area of the company, Optum is literally hiring the offshore employees to replace the rest of us. I’m not concerned about them at all.
Honestly dont give a sh-t about the offshore folks. I'm worried about me and my team.
Ketamine Elmo has already said he's looking at RTO for government employees, classic mass-layoff strategy without having to layoff -- and this is the guy that our leaders adore and try to emulate.
We can only hope. We all need to write our congressmen.
There has been nothing said about the new administrations thoughts on outsourcing white collar labor. All that has been discussed is manufacturing. I suggest you and everyone else write to them if you want them to do anything about it.

We need whistleblowers. CMS (Medicare n Medicaid) money is getting siphoned outside country. Even if it’s done legally, this needs to stop.

We will lose over 50% of our 401k, pensions will be EOL as the USA moves from a Dollar to Crypto for the America First Kleptos. Banks will collapse. Stock up on emergency food and water.
OP probably pointing that leaders here will change depending on how the wind blows. Their narrative will change accordingly. What actually will be policy is difficult to predict, though a shake up is likely.
I wouldn’t be so sure. They could just as easily try to offshore our government services as well.
“See, look how much taxpayer money we’re saving. Now our dollars are printed in Zambia and the customer service for passport renewal is in Indonesia”
I’m not claiming this is what will happen, just suggesting that we can’t be so sure about anything.
Although, it would be nice. We are primarily a service economy. It would be nice if they added a corporate tax for using foreign workers.
